Shimano BL-Z325 Brake Lever set

This offering is for a new-old-stock set of Shimano non-aero brake levers (non-series model BL-Z325) in a silver finish with factory matched black hoods. The non-series reference is our way of describing the fact that these levers were not connected to a particular groupset, but offered as a separate lever set with generic enough markings to function/fit well with a number of different applications. Please also note when we say this is a set, we want to confirm the set includes a true right and left brake lever (as Shimano incorporated minor right/left design differences in many of their brake lever models).

These lever sets were in current production in (and around) the mid 80's...so they pre-date Shimano's SLR technology, which is an acronym for Shimano Linear Response system. As a result, these levers do not incorporate the spring assisted design that results in a more lively feel and crisp recoil action. This is not to say they are poor quality levers, because they are still bike shop quality, but please keep in mind they do not incorporate the spring assisted design...as Shimano did not introduce that feature until around the late 80's.
